should i not admit that i am totally into this quarantine? it's an introvert's dream: cozied up in the house, food delivered to your doorstep, no need to make up poor excuses on why you can't hang-out, freely avoiding the general population, and having a quiet, quiet city. what's not to like? oh yeah, there's that virus that can kill you. always a down-side to everything.
having this chunk of time allows the creative energy to flow and all those ideas that i
enter my mind when i first wake up can now be realized. i've also been cleaning and re-organizing the studio using up some older art supplies. this action has been helping me have clarity of mind and not fall into any pandemic panic.
lots of pieces coming to the shop this week. i came across a stash of spoons that i've apparently been hoarding from myself. all kinds of shapes and sizes and clay bodies. so i'll be listing these.
so. mANY. SPOONS.
AND PAPERCLAY FINGER PUPPETS!
AND THIS ONE-OFF PIECE...
MUGS, BOWLS, AND TINY THINGS WILL BE ADDED LATER IN THE WEEK.
ALSO WANT TO SAY YAY! THE NEW ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING MATERIAL HAS ARRIVED! I HATED WRAPPING MY ITEMS IN PLASTIC BUBBLEWRAP FOR SHIPPING, BUT EVERYTIME I TRIED TO NOT USE IT TOO MANY THINGS WOULD ARRIVE BROKEN. NO BUENO. SO HOPEFULLY THIS NEW MATERIAL WILL WORK AND PLASTIC WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST (FINGER CROSSED EMOJI)!
